I'm a very particular person and, lucky for you, I do sweat the small stuff. I apply this to each and every design I create or photograph I capture.
I'm an Indiana boy from an Indiana town, growing up in Georgetown, Indiana. As a kid, I was never very far from a sketch pad and pencil. I was always trying to create, draw or paint something. I mostly loved diving into comic books and admiring the artwork. Thats how it all started and i've never looked back since.
It’s pretty simple. Payne Design Studio was born from a creative vision and the love of creating stunning, unique designs and photos. I understand that good designs and beautiful photography go way beyond the computer and lens. We all want something unique and personal; something that tells a story.
My life revolves around color and design. It's what drives me. Since 2000, I’ve been passionately dedicated to graphic design, the web and photography. I've worked with large and small companies, individuals and everything in between. Since then, I've been striving to create beautiful and memorable pieces in a variety of mediums, including the web, print, weddings, photography and more. My specialty is custom graphic design, web design and photography. While you'll mostly find design work I've created under my current employment with Heartland Payment Systems, you'll also find other projects I've done via freelance and past employments.
When I'm not designing or taking photographs I can be found on the local softball field, traveling, playing fetch with our black lab Callie, building something, playing a round of golf or cheering on our Indianapolis Colts. And, you'll most likely see me with my wonderful wife Lindsay as of August 2010. Oh, and she is an Interior Designer. See, I'm addicted to design.
